PTSD911 An Evening of Hope

PTSD911: AN EVENING OF HOPE

I am very excited that Sheepdog Lodge will be a part of this awesome event called PTSD911: An Evening of Hope happening on February 5th at The Metropolitan Conference Center in Calgary.

This event is to raise awareness about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in first responders and to diminish the stigma associated with it. By bringing the public together with members of emergency services, we hope to create an open dialogue about mental health issues and to demonstrate that there is a common struggle among our first responders and their families. This event is to support those who bravely stand in service to us and to demonstrate that there is hope for those who suffer.

The dress attire is semi-formal/uniform. Tickets are $50 each, with half of all ticket sales being donated to Wounded Warriors Canada. Fundraising events will take place throughout the evening to help raise funds for Sheepdog Lodge and the Firefighter Assistance Charitable Society.

Please take a few minutes to check out the webpage at invisiblewounds.ca

I HOPE to see you there.
